Paco Rabanne Perfumes
Paco Rabanne is a French fashion house founded in 1966. Francisco "Paco" Rabaneda Cuervo, the Spanish-born fashion designer better known as Paco Rabanne, fled to France with his family during the Spanish Civil War.
Raised in Paris, he is an architect by origin, but began his career in fashion designing jewelry for other fashion houses before venturing into clothing design.
He quickly became known for his eclectic fashion using unconventional materials such as metal and paper.
The house's first perfume is the now legendary women's fragrance Calandre, introduced in 1969. Several innovative fragrances in signature bottles for both men and women have followed since. Paco Rabanne fashion and perfumes are produced in collaboration with Puig.
