Michael Kors Perfumes
Michael Kors is an American fashion designer, known for his women's clothing collections. Born Karl Anderson, Jr. in 1959, he changed his name to Michael David Kors at age 5 when his mother remarried.
Kors studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology and started designing clothes at the age of 19. In 1981, at just 22 years old, he launched the Michael Kors women's clothing line at the well-known New York City department stores.
The success of this line eventually led to a position as a womenswear designer and creative director at the legendary French fashion house Celine. Kors left Celine in 2003 to refocus on his own brand.
Michael Kors introduced its first perfume, Michael for Women, in 2001, in collaboration with Estee Lauder.
