It was an offer to be taken under the wing of Master Perfumer Sophia Grojsman that brought Honorine to New York City, where she has since made her home.

Honorine's personal life is as rich and varied as her professional life. She likes to spend time alone to gather her thoughts and take in the world around her. She finds solace in books, sailing and art. Her book choices are eclectic and intriguing, ranging from Stefan Zweig to Khalil Gibran. She is passionate about sailing and feels completely free on the high seas. And she finds inspiration in the world's greatest museums, especially through the enigmatic work of Gerhard Richter and the female nudes whose imperfections deeply touch her.
