Benoist Lapouza is a perfumer whose inspiration comes from his love of nature and his passion for exploring new places and local delicacies.

He says, "I feel connected to nature and love to respect it." He creates scents that resemble sensual carpets, evoking sea breezes and exotic flavors that linger on the tongue.

Benoist's creativity is fueled by his travels and the people he meets.

He enjoys discovering new ingredients to incorporate into his fragrances, drawing inspiration from everything from Bach's citrus to Roellinger spices.

He even collaborates with renowned chefs such as Alain Passard, approaching food ingredients to create a symphony of flavors in fragrance compositions.

Benoist strives to balance sensuality with freshness in his fragrances, capturing the sensations of vastness, freedom and power that he associates with sailing, diving or even piloting an airplane.

His designs embrace natural mystique and experimental creativity, resulting in fragrances that are both beautiful and complex, like a musical crescendo. Benoist has worked with several perfume companies including Takasago, Quest and Fragrance Resources before joining the Drom team in 2014.
