Armani Perfumes
Giorgio Armani is an Italian fashion designer, best known for his menswear. Armani began his career as a department store window designer and rose to become a menswear buyer. From 1960 to 1972 he worked as a designer for the well-known fashion house Nino Cerutti, and then worked as an independent designer for several fashion houses before creating his own brand.
He presented his first menswear collection in 1975, followed by a line for women in the same year. Armani gained a wider audience for his work through the popular movie "American Gigolo", in which Richard Gere's character wore chic Armani designs. This was the beginning of many future collaborations in films.
The brand expanded throughout the late 1970s and early 1980s, with several collections in different price ranges, jeans, underwear, accessories, and through an agreement with L'Oreal, also fragrances and beauty products.
