Aramis was founded in 1964 and the name was inspired by a character from Alexander Dumas' classic writing "The Three Musketeers".

Although it started as a fragrance brand, it also makes aftershaves, body washes, shaving soaps and unique fragrances for both men and women.

The very first fragrance was released by the brand in 1966. Aramis was and still is one of the best-selling brands in the world.
