Perfumer Annick Menardo
Annick Ménardo grew up in France and had an interest in science and psychiatry as a child. Her passion for perfume led her to study chemistry at the French perfume academy ISIPCA in Versailles.
After graduating, she started as an intern at Créations Aromatiques, where, under the guidance of Michel Almairac, she refined her craft and developed a precise, demanding and slightly rebellious compositional style. In 1991 she joined Firmenich, a leading fragrance company, where she created successful fragrances for renowned brands such as Boss for Hugo Boss and Dior Hypnotic Poison. Her fragrances are characterized by their strong identity and unique signature that make them memorable.
She has collaborated with several brands, but her work with Lolita Lempicka is remarkable. She created the brand's iconic first fragrance and later worked on L'Eau Jolie, a fresh and natural fragrance built around spring petals and fruity juicy tonalities.
Annick Ménardo is considered a leading figure in modern perfumery for her immense talent and contribution to its development. Her work is a testament to her passion, creativity and dedication to perfection, making her one of the most respected perfumers in the world. Today, she continues to create and innovate as a Master Perfumer at Symrise.
